Legal Matters
The courts can make a variety of orders to help keep you and your children safe and to allow you to remain safely in your home. They include:
- Non molestation orders, to try to stop violence, threats and harassing behaviour
- Occupation orders, to sort out who can stay in the family home and to keep the violent person away from your home
- Restraining orders, as part of sentencing in criminal proceedings, to protect you from violence, threats and harassment
- Forced marriage protection orders, to try to stop someone from being forced into marriage or to protect someone who has been forced into marriage
If you would like to discuss the options then please contact us.
